The Washington State University women's soccer team handed out its team awards earlier this month.
The winners were senior defender Ali Fenter (MVP), junior forward Brandi Vega (Offensive Player of the Year), sophomore Rachael Doyle (Defensive Player of the Year), sophomore defender Delaney Zalud (Most Improved), freshman midfielder Nicole Setterlund (Rookie of the Year) and senior forward Tiara Pittman (Most Inspirational).
Fenter capped her career having started every match (86) in her four-years at Washington State. The matches played and started are both Cougar career standards. Her second half goal in the NCAA First Round at Kentucky tied the match and Washington State went on to advance on penalty kicks.
