We are proud to present Dr. Colleen M. Hacker as our special guest speaker.
Dr. Colleen Hacker has served as a member of the United States coaching staff for six Olympic Games as a Mental Skills Coach and Performance Psychology Specialist. She began her National Team service in 1995 working with the US Women's National Soccer Team. Her National Team and Olympic experience includes the US Women's Soccer, Ice and Field Hockey Teams. In addition to National and Olympic Teams, she serves as a Mental Skills Coach to professional, international, and Olympic athletes in a variety of sports including Major League Baseball, the National Football League, Major League Soccer, USA Swimming, crew, speed skating, track and field, and tennis.
Dr. Hacker's strategies for peak performance are sought after by corporations, business groups, professional sports teams, civic organizations, and both print and television media. With more than 30 years experience in higher education, she is currently a Professor in Kinesiology at Pacific Lutheran University, in Tacoma, Washington. She has conducted extensive, applied research in the field of sport psychology with particular emphasis on peak performance, team building, leadership, mental toughness and psychological skills for excellence.
